Â鶹ӰԺ Leicester (Â鶹ӰԺ) is to offer a range of Business courses to students in Kazakhstan through a new international partnership.
Â鶹ӰԺ has partnered with international study provider EdPeritus to offer a range of courses from Â鶹ӰԺ’s Faculty of Business and Law including Accounting and Finance, Business and Marketing, and Law, among others, located on a campus in Esentai City, Almaty.
Teaching is set to start in September this year.
Simon Bradbury, Pro Vice-Chancellor International at Â鶹ӰԺ, said the new partnership showed the strength and reputation of Â鶹ӰԺ’s courses in Business and Law worldwide.
He said: “The Kazakh government is very keen to be able to offer Â鶹ӰԺ qualifications in Kazakhstan and this is because of our strong reputation internationally.
“For us, it means the opportunity of developing another strong international partnership, extending the global network Â鶹ӰԺ has and being able to share our teaching and extend the opportunities we offer our students to a new audience.”
The campus in Almaty, which will be managed by EdPeritus, will also offer students a medical centre, food outlets, indoor fitness centre and outdoor sports area. Â鶹ӰԺ will oversee the delivery of academic programmes and ensure a quality student experience. Students will also have the opportunity to study on Â鶹ӰԺ's Leicester campus for one year.
The offer is part of Â鶹ӰԺ’s TransNational Education (TNE) strategy, which includes working in collaboration with overseas partners to offer Â鶹ӰԺ programmes to students around the world.
Final academic approval is due to take place on Wednesday 14 July.
