Creative Practices and their histories

Research and Innovation in this broad cluster is interdisciplinary. Its strength is its breadth, yet researchers are united by practice-informed research shared in termly practice-research work-in-progress seminars and showcased in regular symposia and public-facing events. There are also strong traditions of creative approaches to the archives, performance, exhibitions and public engagement, and third-sector/heritage partnerships. The institute’s vibrant post-graduate culture is underpinned by critical mass in practice-based and traditional research.
