Vietnam, USA, Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates are just some of the destinations lined up for students in the latest round of travel opportunities by the award-winning Â鶹ӰԺ Global team.
Applications are now open for the trips which are designed to give Â鶹ӰԺ Leicester (Â鶹ӰԺ) students the chance to experience different cultures in destinations around the globe enhancing studies and putting students on the front foot when it comes to future employment.
Taking place between September and December 2023, the trips offer a mix of employability-focused and academic-themed experiences.
Trips designed to boost your employability include an insight into the working world in South-East Asia, with a week in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh City and a trip to the Â鶹ӰԺ Dubai campus to develop the skills needed to stand out in interviews.
Academic-led trips include studying Biomedical Science in Zimbabwe, Engineering in Toulouse and footwear manufacturing in Alicante.
The deadline for applications is Tuesday May 30 9am.
To help make overseas opportunities more accessible, there is a available for successful applicants to help cover costs, amounting to £150 each for trips to Europe and £400 each for trips outside of Europe.
There is also additional financial support available for students who qualify for , including those with disabilities, those from low-income households or students with a background in care.
Julia Serafinska, a second year Psychology student, went on a Student Exchange Experience in Bilbao in 2022 and in March this year she went on a Spanish Culture and Intercultural Communication trip in Alicante.

When asked if students should apply for a Â鶹ӰԺ Global trip she said: “Yes, yes, and yes! It is affordable, because of the Â鶹ӰԺ Global bursary for each trip.
“It allows you to explore a new culture and see new amazing places. It always surprises me how brilliant the organisation and itinerary is.
“It broadens horizons and allows for personal, professional, and academic development through learning and experiencing something new and exciting.”
