Prakash Pandey is a Lecturer in Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the faculty of Computing, Engineering, and Media at Â鶹ӰԺ, Leicester, UK. He has received his MSc in Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (2014) and a PhD degree in Electronic Engineering (2020) from Â鶹ӰԺ, Leicester, UK. His PhD research is about the thermal characterisation of miniature hotplates used in gas sensing technology. He has developed a novel thermal measurement technique which was based on measuring the emitted optical incandescent radiation as a function of operating temperature.
Dr Pandey has a special interest in thermal characterisation of micro-electronic devices and circuits using infra-red techniques. He teaches various modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Electronics Engineering and supervise student projects.
