Personal profile

Jonathan completed his higher education studies at Teesside University in which he achieved a PhD, MSc, and BSc (Hons) in psychology with a postgraduate focus on health psychology. While working towards his PhD Jonathan lectured part-time and contributed to a range of undergraduate psychology modules.

Jonathan’s research interests involve the psychology of human-computer interaction, also known as cyberpsychology, positive health-related behaviour change, and conceptual aspects of health and positive psychology such as leisure-stress coping and social support. Jonathan is particularly interested in researching how leisure technologies, such as computer games, may facilitate health-related behaviour change.
