Personal profile

Having trained at Â鶹ӰԺ previously in Human Psychology then Midwifery, I joined as faculty firstly as a Visiting Lecturer then, in 2020, as a Lecturer in Midwifery. I’ve been impressed with the expansion of the university over recent years but love that Â鶹ӰԺ has retained the friendly atmosphere I remember from being a student. Learning to do a new job in an ongoing pandemic has been interesting to say the least but I am excited to develop my interests and knowledge with Â鶹ӰԺ. I am passionate about good quality maternity care, mental and emotional wellbeing, human rights and inclusivity. I am also interested in the role that language plays within health care contexts.
